LU Cloud Privacy Policy
Linkup Infotech, Inc. (the "Company") collects and uses user information to provide the LU Cloud service (the "Service"). This Policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights users have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & contact information: name, company, email, phone (optional), and country/language, entered when signing up at /cloud/start.
- Browser information: IP address, visit time, pages accessed, and browser version, collected for statistics and security. Includes session cookies (session_id, frontend_lang, etc.).
- Workspace data: all information the Customer enters or uploads into their workspace (contacts, transaction records, etc.) is owned and fully controlled by the Customer. The Company collects and processes it on the Customer's behalf solely to provide the Service.
2. Purpose of Use
We use collected information to provide the Service (workspace provisioning, email verification, etc.), respond to inquiries, manage billing and accounts, and analyze usage to improve the Service. Where used for marketing, users may opt out at any time.
3. Access, Correction, and Deletion
Users may contact support@link-up.co.kr to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data. Information subject to statutory retention (tax, accounting, etc.) is kept for the required period before deletion. When a workspace is terminated, the database is kept inactive for a 30-day grace period before being destroyed.
4. Retention Period
Account and contact information is retained for as long as needed to fulfill its collection purpose and as required by law. Browser and server logs are retained for up to 12 months.
5. Third-Party Sharing and Processing
The Company may entrust information processing to the following third-party providers, to the extent necessary to operate the Service:
- Cloud infrastructure/hosting provider — Vultr (Seoul region)
- Email delivery provider — Amazon Web Services (AWS SES)
- Payment processor — Toss Payments
The Company does not sell personal data or share it with third parties for any purpose other than those stated here.
6. Location of Data
Customer workspaces are hosted in data centers in [region to be confirmed — e.g. Korea / Asia-Pacific].
7. Cookies
The Service uses cookies to maintain sessions and store language/region preferences. Declining cookies may limit your ability to use the Service.
8. Security
The Company implements technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal data from loss, theft, leakage, tampering, or damage.
9. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be revised from time to time to reflect legal or service changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is updated whenever it is revised.
